OH HEY!
Sandee Hunt is an award-winning writer, photographer, and digital media strategist. Born in Los Angeles, Sandee has spent her entire life on California’s Central Coast, which means she has both a deep love for the region and a front-row seat to its particular brand of small-town chaos. Her work blends cultural commentary, dark humor, and a journalist’s instinct for stabbing at hypocrisy until it admits what it’s really doing.

Over the past two decades, she has worked behind the scenes managing digital content and social media for public figures, brands, politicians, and high-profile cases, reading more comment sections than any person should ever have to. The experience gave her an unusually clear view of how the internet actually behaves when no one thinks the person behind the screen is paying attention.

Sandee writes essays, op-eds, and occasional fiction that wander comfortably between satire, cultural analysis, and horror. She is an INFJ with the stubborn backbone of an Enneagram Type 8, which means she is both deeply reflective and extremely willing to say the quiet part out loud (much to the chagrin of the eternally bored little townspeople of San Luis Obispo).

Outside of writing, she’s an avid concert-goer raised on Warped Tour, a former cheerleader who still appreciates a perfectly timed routine, and a pole fitness enthusiast who believes strength, humor, and a little bit of rebellion make life more interesting. She lives on the Central Coast with her two kids and an ever-growing collection of creative projects that tend to start as jokes and somehow turn into entire bodies of work.

P.S. That color looks incredible on you.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE USE POLICY
I run my blogs through it for grammar, length, and clarity because, let’s be honest, everyone’s too scared to give me real feedback. People just smile, nod, and tell me what they think I want to hear, which is adorable but not helpful. Only a robot is willing to tell me that my sentence structure sucks.
I use OpenAI for most of my images too, because I don’t have a budget for a designer or illustrator — much to my eternal disappointment. I am in the process of making sure all AI-produced images are tagged as such.
When it comes to music, AI is the only reason I can turn my chaos into something listenable, since I can’t sing worth shit or play 12 instruments.
This is just me messing around and having a good time — don’t take it too seriously. Have a great day.
